EACH TREE GROWS A CANADIAN FOREST
Did you know: The average Canadian emits enough carbon to fill 3.5 hot air balloons in one year? It would take about 118 trees to capture and store that volume of carbon.
Forests and Carbon Sequestration: Forests absorb CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis. The CO2 is then stored in the tree’s leaves, branches, trunks, roots and soil.
Canada’s Boreal Forests host:
- 85+ mammal species
- 300+ breeding bird species
- The Douglas fir, White pine, Red spruce, Lodgepole pine, Black spruce, Balsam poplar and many other tree species.

A portion of each tree sale is donated to the charity of the Forest Growth Leader’s choice, and all contributions will be matched by CFT.

Program FAQ’S
You can sell to everyone. We encourage you to invite your friends, family members, colleagues, and local businesses to join your cause of reforesting Canada.
Additionally, you can align your sales goals with another campaign, such as organizing a “run for forests” event. You may even choose to swap birthday presents in for seedlings sales. The options are endless.
You will be paid for your commissions on the last Friday of every week. These payments will reflect your sales from the preceding week (Friday to Thursday) weeks and will be issued in CAD (Canadian dollars).
Yes! You may choose your charity of choice from one of the six listed here when you fill out your application. You are welcome to change your charity of choice at any time by contacting us.
